KAYAL IN ISRAEL SQUAD

23 March 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion’s Beram Kayal has been recalled to the Israel national squad for the first time in almost a year.

The midfielder has been in fine form since joining the Seagulls from Scottish champions Celtic in January, and his performances on the south coast have earned him a place in the Israel setup again.

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

Speaking after the win at Blackburn Rovers Kayal told seagulls.co.uk, "It's always nice to be in the national team and throughout most of my career I have played for them.

"I've missed a lot of time with them because of my injuries, but now I'm fit and feel okay."

Top-of-the-table Israel have two vital homes games in a row in their quest to qualify for the 2016 European Championships, starting with Chris Coleman’s Wales on Saturday, 5pm kick-off, before hosting Belgium next Tuesday, 7.45pm kick-off.
