THREE FIXTURES CHANGE INCLUDING OPENING DAY

30 June 2015

  • Opening fixture v Nottingham Forest selected for live Sky Sports coverage
  • Christmas fixture v Ipswich Town also moved back 24 hours
  • Fulham game, next April, brought forward to Friday night
  • Fans are reminded all fixtures are subject to change

Three of Brighton & Hove Albion's home fixtures have been changed, including the opening day match at the American Express Community Stadium against Nottingham Forest, which will be shown live on Sky Sports, as the new season opener on the Friday evening.

Chief executive Paul Barber commented, "It's a great privilege and an honour to be chosen as the very first live TV game of the new season for the Football League and Premier League.

"The visit of Nottingham Forest is always going to be a big game at any time of the season, and evokes memories of our end to the season two years ago with Leo Ulloa’s great goal.

"Forest fans travel well, so we're hoping for a full house here, and a Friday night game under the lights at the Amex in the summer months will be a special occasion.

"So we anticipate people will turn out in great numbers and we’re looking forward to showing the country what this stadium looks like when it’s full and rocking."
