Brighton & Hove Albion chief executive Paul Barber has not ruled out adding further faces ahead of next week's pre-season trip to the Alps.
Speaking in an interview for Seagulls Player HD, Barber said, "We feel we have started the transfer window well, we had a good plan, and so far, so good.
"We hope to bring in one or two more players in the next seven days, if that’s possible. There is always the potential for last-minute delays and hitches, so there are no promises or guarantees.
"But we're working hard behind the scenes to make sure Chris's squad is as complete as it can be with two months of the transfer window still to run.
"It's a long time, and while we would like to get all our business done before the players go off on tour, that's just not the market we are operating in.
"We've also the got the players who've had long-term injuries coming back into the squad, so it feels like Chris has got new faces and new players to use during pre-season.
"We're very confident that going into pre-season Chris will have a really good and positive group to work with, and the new faces will simply add to that."
