Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-21s will take on Enfield Town in their first pre-season friendly of the summer tonight, 7.45pm kick-off.
Coach Simon Rusk has named a strong squad for the match at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, as several players recently gained first-team experience in the matches against FC Meyrin and Lewes.

New summer signings Daniel Akindayini and Joe Ward have been included in the 19-man squad, along with Jesse Starkey, who was involved in the first-team’s training camp in the French Alps.
Several first and second-year scholars have also been given the chance to impress, with Jason Molumby and Remi Meyers among the players making the step up from Ian Buckman’s under-18 squad.
