Youngsters Rohan Ince and Solly March are in contention for their goals against Swindon and Fulham respectively, while Adrian Colunga (v Bournemouth) and Bruno (v Cardiff City) add some Spanish flair to the nominees.
Another former Seagull Will Buckley is amongst the candidates for the first strike of his Bolton brace last season, while current Albion midfielders Dale Stephens (v Blackpool), Kazenga LuaLua (v Yeovil) and Danny Holla (v Brentford) make up the rest of the contenders.
The winning goal will be announced by Seagulls TV presenter Richard Reynolds during the pre-match build-up at the Arsenal game.
