KAYAL GRANTED WORK PERMIT

28 January 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion have been successful in their application for a work permit for prospective new signing Beram Kayal - and the club now hopes to conclude his transfer ahead of the weekend trip to Blackpool.

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

Chief executive Paul Barber and manager Chris Hughton appeared before a Football Association panel this morning to present the club's case for Kayal. The permit was granted by the panel, which is made up of FA, Football League and PFA officials and independent advisors, shortly after the hearing.

Albion and Kayal can now apply for the required government visa from the Home Office in the next 24 hours before registering the transfer with the Football League and awaiting international clearance on the transfer from the FA.
