COLUNGA JOINS GRANADA ON LOAN

30 January 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion’s Adrian Colunga has joined La Liga side Granada on loan for the rest of the season - with a view to a permanent move this summer.

The forward joins the Spanish outfit with the club bottom of the table and two points from safety after 20 games.

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

Colunga signed for the Seagulls in the summer from another La Liga side, Getafe, and has hit the net four times in 21 appearances for Albion.

The striker’s last goal came from the penalty spot in December during Albion’s 2-0 win away at Fulham and his last appearance came off the bench against Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round defeat last week.

The two clubs have also agreed the terms of a permanent transfer for Colunga to Granada at the end of the season subject to certain criteria being met during the player's loan spell.
