THE MONTH AHEAD: FEBRUARY

2 February 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion had a prosperous January where new manager Chris Hughton oversaw three wins in his first month in charge while running Premier League Arsenal close in the FA Cup as well.

After exiting the cup to the Gunners, Albion’s sole focus is now on the league and the shortest month of the year still packs in plenty of fixtures, with six games in 21 days.

Hughton’s men head into February looking to bounce back from the disappointing 1-0 reverse at Blackpool at the end of January, starting with a home fixture against Dougie Freedman's Nottingham Forest on the 7th, kick-off 3pm.

Albion return to home comforts as a resurgent Birmingham visit the Amex on Saturday 21st, while Leeds United return to the south coast on Tuesday 24th in a fixture that has a history of providing high entertainment.

The month concludes away at Bolton Wanderers on Saturday 28th where the Seagulls will be aiming to replicate last season’s terrific 2-0 win at the Macron Stadium.
