RECORD SALES OF HALF-SEASON TICKETS

11 December 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion fans have snapped up half-season tickets in record numbers this December, and sales are showing no signs of slowing down ahead of Christmas.

The club has already sold a record number of half-season tickets as Chris Hughton's men sit top of the Championship, still unbeaten in the league ahead of a tough trip to Derby County this weekend.

Head of supporter services Jenny Gower said, "Sales have surpassed all our expectations; with the team doing so well the half-season ticket is on a lot of fans' wishlists this Christmas.

"We are seeing some of our lapsed season-ticket holders from the end of last season returning, but also there is a good mix of new season-ticket holders."

The half-season ticket includes a guaranteed seat for all 11 Championship home matches at the American Express Community Stadium from the Wolverhampton Wanderers New Year's Day match onwards, and one of the major benefits of the half-season ticket is that fans can secure a full season-ticket for the 2016/17 season.

Fans who buy early may also opt to pay a small upfront deposit and spread the remainder of the payments across three months from January to March, using the club's interest-free direct debit scheme.

Half-season tickets are available online at www.seagullstickets.com, by calling the Albion Booking Line on 0844 327 1901*(calls cost seven pence per minute plus your network charge) or in person at the club’s ticket office, located at the Amex Stadium.

Half-season ticket holders also benefit from first priority on home cup games and ALL away matches, although some matches may also be subject to loyalty points.

On top of these great prices, half-season ticket holders will also be entitled to claim up to two additional tickets for just £10 for the Albion v Sheffield Wednesday match in March.
