ALBION DRAWN AGAINST HULL

7 December 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion will travel to Hull City in the FA Cup third round, after the draw was made this evening.

It is the second time in as many seasons that Albion will face a fellow Championship side in the third round, after the Seagulls met Brentford last year.

It will also be the second time that the Seagulls will play the Tigers this season, after a 1-0 league victory for Chris Hughton’s men back in September.

The two clubs met in the FA Cup as recently as two seasons ago, when Albion held the then Premier League Tigers to a 1-1 draw in a fifth round tie at the Amex, before a narrow 2-1 defeat in the replay at the KC Stadium.

The tie is scheduled to take place between Friday 8th January and Monday 11th January 2016.
