The Championship’s opening fixture this Friday evening sees Albion host Nottingham Forest at the American Express Community Stadium.

Albion's five new signings will be introduced to the crowd ahead of tonight's game and the fixture also marks the start of Forest’s 150th anniversary season and a pre-match presentation will take place to honour the occasion.

Don Lock Tribute

The club would like fans to join family and friends of Don Lock in honouring the loyal Albion supporter with a minute’s applause on the 79th minute of the game.

Travel Update

Albion’s official travel partner Seagull Travel collects from over 120 pick-up locations covering East and West Sussex and surrounding counties. Seats can be booked via or by calling 0845 9011 442.

Southern Rail will be running a usual matchday service for the match and for more information on travelling to the Amex check out our new, updated travel guide.

Ticket Office

The club's supporter services team are urging all supporters to arrive early at the stadium, with a high number of collections for matchday tickets – largely due to the huge demand created by Bobby Zamora's arrival on Monday night.

Fans should have received communication from the club regarding season ticket cards recently.

Please bring your new season ticket card if you have received one. If you have not received a new card your old one will be active and you will require this to access the stadium.

The Sky Bet Championship trophy will be in the Fanzone before the game so fans that arrive early will get the chance to have their picture taken with the trophy.

It will also host local band Alternate Function, and Albion in the Community are also running mini football sessions for younger Seagulls fans.

For those arriving early the Hop Bar in the Fanzone will have a special offer on pints of Harveys Best Bitter at just £3.50.

Last orders from the Hop Bar in the Fanzone will be 7.15pm and fans should note that all drinks must be consumed before entering the stadium. Post-match there will be no alcohol served outside.

Stadium Superstore

The Stadium Superstore will be open until kick-off with stock of the club’s latest 2015/16 change kits, home shirts as well as the new training kit range.

Kit printing will also be available, though fans are encouraged to arrive early for this facility due to the anticipated high demand.

Food & Drink Offering

Brighton & Hove Albion have unveiled a new catering line-up for the new season, including upgraded burgers, an additional Piglet’s Pantry pie flavour and a brand-new cheese-and-onion Piglet's pasty for vegetarians.

The guest Piglet’s Pantry offering is a gastro sausage rolls and the game’s guest ale is Marston’s Pedigree.

A range of new 'street' food kiosks will be housed in the internal concourses at the Amex serving a variety of different options. This week the following offering will be available in each concourse:

North stand: Chicago Town Pizza
West stand upper: Piglet’s Pantry
West stand lower & South Home: Rub ‘N’ Roll
East stand lower: Loaded Foot Long Hot Dogs
East stand upper: Great Brits

This week’s catering offer is pints of Foster’s for £3.50, available between 5.15 and 5.45pm in the lounges and from 6.15 to 6.45pm in the concourses.

Important ecash and Payment Information

Brighton & Hove Albion fans are reminded that the e-cash payment system is no longer in operation and the stadium now accepts contactless card payments in the majority of kiosks.
