Brighton & Hove Albion striker Bobby Zamora received a warm welcome from his new teammates on his first day back at the club, but none more so than from winger Kazenga LuaLua.
The former Newcastle United flyer wore the number 25 shirt that became synonymous with Zamora, and LuaLua was quick to offer the shirt to the returning striker.
He said, "We all know how popular Bobby is at Brighton; he’s a legend, so it wasn't a bad thing to do and to give up the shirt for a legend.
"It was a nice number to have and I knew the history of it, I knew Bobby had it before me. He is very important to the fans, so to give the number back to him is perfect.
"I had the number at Newcastle and it was the number that Gus [Poyet] wanted me to wear here when I first came. It's the right time to give the number away to a true legend."

Zamora added, "I am touched that he’s given it to me, I really am. I didn't kick up a fuss, the question was would you like it?
"I said that I would love the number back, but also if Kaz wants to keep it then that’s no problem, but he's made a lovely gesture of offering it to me
"Obviously there is an affiliation of the number with myself after having it at the other clubs I've been at, but it was a really nice gesture for him to give it to me.
"He has done a great job in the shirt and it will be hard for me to follow him after what he has done in the last couple of years in that shirt.
"I really appreciate it and I will do my best to keep the shirt. I want to keep the popularity of the number going.
"Brighton was the club where I first wore the number at and I've kept it since, except for a short time at Fulham, so it's been good for me and hopefully it can continue in that way."
