WATCH THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE AWARDS LIVE

19 April 2015

Brighton & Hove Albion fans can watch live coverage of the 2015 Football League Awards, which takes place at The Brewery in London tonight from 8.30pm.

The club has been nominated in two separate categories, along with individual nominations for Keith Gallis, Rohan Ince and Sarah Watts.

Albion are in contention to win the Family Club of the Year award, alongside Colchester United, Middlesbrough, Milton Keynes Dons, Plymouth Argyle and Stevenage.

This award recognises a club’s efforts to attract and retain young fans and families at games. Three divisional winners will be announced and one of those will be named the overall winner.

Albion in the Community are shortlisted in the Johnstone’s Paint Community Club of the Year, which recognises a club scheme that successfully engages with their local community.

Albion are listed as the southern regional winners of the award, along with Blackburn Rovers (North West), Doncaster Rovers (Yorkshire and North East), Derby County (Midlands) and Norwich City (East).

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

Rohan Ince has an individual nomination in the ceremony, as his stunning strike in the 4-2 Capital One Cup victory over Swindon Town has been listed as one of ten strikes in the Mitre Goal of the Year award, in conjunction with Soccer AM.

Sarah Watts has also been individually nominated the Capital One Supporter of the Year award and is part of a three-person shortlist, including Tracey Cole (Crawley Town) and Greg Hill (Exeter City).

Sarah, who sadly passed away in January, was a relentless campaigner against homophobia with the Brighton & Hove Albion Supporters’ Club and the Gay Football Supporters’ Network.

Finally, Keith Gallis has named as Brighton & Hove Albion’s ‘Club Hero’, as the Football League recognises a member of staff from each of the 72 clubs for their loyal and dedicated service.

The overall winner will receive the Tokio Marine Kiln Club Hero Award and shall also be named on the night.
