Lewis Dunk was delighted with Albion's new top-tier record of four consecutive clean sheets.

Lewis Dunk couldn't have been prouder of his team's performance at Anfield, but wants Albion to keep their feet firmly on the ground.

Steven Alzate netted the only goal of the game as Albion secured back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since November 2019 as they climbed to 15th in the table after their 1-0 win over the champions.

Dunk said, “I am absolutely delighted for the boys. We put in a massive shift at a tough place, they're the Premier League champions for a reason.

“We stopped them creating chances and limited them to one or two for Mo Salah. To stop them playing the way they like to and to come out and do as well as we did offensively, especially after a tough game the other night against Spurs, is top stuff.

“We've shown what we're about. Even when we weren't winning games, we stayed in them and we showed the spirit we had when we came from 3-1 down against Wolves last month.

“We know we've got in us. It's nice that we have picked up a couple of wins lately, we've been performing for a good amount of time and it's nice to have those ten points [from the last four games] to back it up.

“We have to carry on though. We haven't been getting carried away because we know what it's like to go on a bad run. We need to continue to focus.”

The 29-year-old was delighted to make it four consecutive top-flight clean sheets – a first in Albion's history.

“It's something to be proud of. I have been in defence a long time, so I can't have been doing too well before! It's a nice one and we now want to get another clean sheet in the next game.”
