Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jake Forster-Caskey has been named in Gareth Southgate’s England under-21 squad for the upcoming friendlies against France and Portugal.
The midfielder was part of Southgate’s side that negotiated their way past Croatia in the European Championship play-off last month, securing the Three Lions’ qualification for the 2015 tournament in the Czech Republic with a 4-2 aggregate win.
England will take on fellow Euro qualifiers Portugal at Turf Moor on Thursday 13 November, 7.45pm kick-off, before travelling to Brest to take on France on Monday 17 November, 8pm kick-off.
Both games will be shown live on BT Sport.
