6 November 2014

Brighton & Hove Albion and Albion in the Community will be well represented at the Football Business Awards, having been shortlisted in five categories ahead of tonight’s ceremony at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC.

For a third consecutive year AITC has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Football Community Scheme’ award, recognising the charity’s ongoing work with the Sussex community to increase participation in sport, tackle inequality, improve health and wellbeing, and boost education and employment opportunities.

AITC have also been nominated for the ‘Best Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme’, an award that AITC, in partnership with American Express, previously won at last year's awards.

Newly-established company, TribeHive, formed after a collaboration between Albion and Sussex University, have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Football App’ category, following the creation of the Albion smartphone app.
