Midfielder Nzuzi Toko has agreed to join Brighton & Hove Albion on 1st July, signing until June 2017 on a free transfer from Grasshopper Zurich.
The 23-year-old midfielder's contract with the Swiss Super League runners-up expires at the end of June. He was free to negotiate with any potential non-Swiss clubs from January, and reached agreement that Albion would be his next move before the end of the season.
Having completed the season in Switzerland on Sunday, the midfielder was at the American Express Community Stadium today to complete a medical and will join his new team-mates for pre-season training when they report back at the end of June.

Albion chairman Tony Bloom commented, "We concluded a deal to sign Toko before their season and ours had ended. Now that Toko has completed the season with Grasshopper Zurich we are delighted to welcome him to Brighton & Hove Albion."
Congo-born Toko played more than 100 games for Grasshopper Zurich during twelve seasons with the club – and helped them win the Swiss Cup last season.
He has also represented Congo at international level, playing in friendlies for their senior team. Since then Toko has also featured in the Switzerland under-21 side – having qualified as a Swiss national having been resident in Switzerland since he was four years of age.
