Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Oscar Garcia has been impressed by the club's fans since arriving last summer, and was further impressed this week, as more than 20,000 season ticket holders renewed seats for 2014/15.

He told, "The support is superb, but we don't take it for granted. It is very good news for us that so many have renewed for next season and I think it means we are doing the right things.

"I have always said that we cannot ask for better fans, they always support us: at the Amex and away from home. There is always a fantastic atmosphere before and during the games."

For the second season in a row, Albion top the table when it comes to crowds in the Football League, almost 2,000 higher than next-best Leeds.

1 Brighton & Hove Albion - 27,092
2 Leeds United - 25,369
3 Derby County - 24,347
4 Leicester City - 23,725
5 Nottingham Forest - 22,863
6 Sheffield Wednesday - 21,447

Meanwhile, those fans who have not renewed and still wish to are advised to contact the club to see if their seat remains available for 2014/15. Supporters can enquire in person at the Amex or by calling the Albion Booking Line on 0844 327 1901.
