John Donoghue has left his role as Brighton & Hove Albion women head coach with immediate effect, along with goalkeeping/assistant coach, Chris Stygal.

Donoghue, assisted by Stygal, took control of first-team affairs last summer, but Albion will now be appointing a new senior management team.

Elite women and girls manager Tracy Doe expressed Albion's gratitude to John and Chris for their efforts throughout the 2013/14 campaign.
She told seagulls.co.uk, “On behalf of the club, I would like to thank both John and Chris for all their hard work over the past season.

“They both brought so much professionalism to managing the senior set-up and I wish them all the very best for the future.”

An announcement regarding the search for a new management team will be made in due course.
