THE MONTH AHEAD: DECEMBER

1 December 2014

Brighton & Hove Albion head into the hectic festive period with two home games and three away matches scheduled for December, as the Seagulls conclude 2014.

The first away game is against league leaders Derby County this weekend, the first time Albion face the Rams since the Championship play-off semi-final second leg in May.

Next up is a match against Millwall under the Friday night lights at the Amex; a fixture which will be shown live on Sky Sports on 12 December, 7:45pm kick-off.

The final game before Christmas is against last season’s League One champions, Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. The two sides served up a classic encounter in their last meeting in the West Midlands, drawing 3-3 as Roger Johnson snatched a point late on for the ten-man hosts.

Six days later will see the first-ever Boxing Day match played at the Amex, as Reading make the relatively short journey south before the year of 2014 ends with a trip to West London.

The return match with Fulham on the 29th is exactly a month after the previous league meeting at the Amex and the Seagulls’ first visit to Craven Cottage in 18 years.
