Brighton & Hove Albion will look ahead to January with renewed vigour after ending 2014 with a tremendous 2-0 win at Fulham.
Adrian Colunga’s penalty and a late goal from Solly March gave the Seagulls a richly-deserved and much-needed three points as interim manager Nathan Jones made it four points from two games in charge.
After climbing out the bottom three thanks to the win at Craven Cottage, the Seagulls will put the league campaign on ice as they enter the FA Cup with a third round away tie at Brentford on January 3 to kick off 2015.

Albion then end a hat-trick of London fixtures with another away trip to Charlton Athletic on Saturday, January 10.
It is Brentford again on Saturday 17th January, but this time at the Amex for the first home fixture of the New Year, before Ipswich Town visit the south coast a week later unless the Seagulls negotiated their way past the Bees and into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The month ends with a fair trek though, as Albion make the journey north to Blackpool on January 31 to complete the month.
