INSIDE MILLWALL EDITION OF SEAGULL

11 December 2014

In our last edition of Seagull before Christmas, loan striker Darren Bent is the latest player to enter The Hot Seat and he reveals his favourite-ever Christmas present and his stand-out performance in the school nativity.

He answers a host of other questions too, from whether Roy Keane is scary to his favourite goal. He also reveals what it was like as an Arsenal fan scoring for Tottenham at the Emirates!

Staying on the Christmas theme, Bruno also explains the differences between Spain and England when it comes to celebrating during the festive period and why we need a Christmas break in this country. He also looks at Albion’s recent displays and why it’s now time to deliver.

Goalkeeper David Stockdale also issues a rallying cry ahead of Friday’s game against Millwall and reveals that the squad are fully behind manager Sami Hyypia.

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

Elsewhere, it’s Football Remembers Week and we take a look back at the Christmas Truce in 1914, when football broke out along the trenches, while Tim Carder profiles the Albion players’ involvement in the First World War, during which time the club became known as ‘The Soldier Team’.

Former keeper Perry Digweed takes a look back at the 1990/91 season and a play-off semi-final against Millwall, while former Albion and Lions centre-forward John Shepherd is also interviewed.

All this and much more can be found inside Friday’s 84-page edition of Seagull, available in and around the Amex Stadium, priced £3.50.
