GULLY'S AITC CHRISTMAS PARTY

22 December 2014

Over 80 children with disabilities and their families from across Sussex enjoyed a festive celebration at the American Express Community Stadium on Monday 22nd December.

The Gully’s Community Christmas Party was organised by Albion in the Community, the charitable arm of Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club. It was made possible thanks to support from the charity’s corporate partner, American Express, whose employees also showed their support by volunteering on the day.

Children were welcomed by the club’s mascot, Gully and had the opportunity to meet Santa, have their faces painted, try out circus skills and don fancy dress for a souvenir photo at the selfie station.

Michael Edwards, CEO of Albion in the Community said, “This year, hundreds of children with disabilities and their families have been able to enjoy the benefits of our Gully’s Days Out programme, providing them with the opportunity to visit some of the best attractions across Sussex with support from volunteers.

"The Christmas party is the perfect way to bring everyone together, including our volunteers from American Express to celebrate.”
