23 December 2014

Friday sees Albion’s final home match of the year with Nathan Jones taking charge of the team in what is the first Boxing Day fixture to be played at the Amex.

Within the family area of the East Stand we have the magical pirate show and the Brighton Golf Lab has its usual FREE nearest-to-the-pin competition.

Opening Times

Dick’s Bar will open from 11:30am and the Seven Stars at midday, both serving a large selection of food and drink, with concourses open from 1:30pm.

The day’s guest pie served in the concourses will be turkey and cranberry.

Travelling to the Amex

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free trip for all fans, the club has worked with local travel partners to produce the below travel guide.

As with any event over the Christmas period, reduced public transport means planning ahead is essential and those travelling from all areas of Sussex and beyond should check for changes to transport times for a stress-free arrival on Boxing Day.

There is limited parking still available for those driving to the game so advanced booking is strongly advised. Subject to availability, parking on the day will be £15.

Club Superstore
The Winter Sale has started in the Stadium Superstore – with up to 50% off selected clothing, homeware, accessories and more! The store will be open from 11am through to 6pm after the match.

With limited stock on many sale items make sure you don’t miss out by popping into the store and if you can’t make it then visit where the Winter Sale is happening too! The mobile store is staying at the stadium on Boxing Day at the southwest corner.

Get your Copy of Seagull

In Boxing Day’s edition of Seagull, cover star Rohan Ince looks back at a year in which he was named Albion’s Young Player of the Year.

Club photographer Paul Hazlewood picks out some of his favourite images in our review of 2014, and we also look at the more light-hearted quotes of the past 12 months.

We bring you all the action from Sunday’s Young Seagulls Christmas Party while David Stockdale goes into The Hot Seat.

Solly March and Adam Chicksen look ahead to the New Year, while ex-Seagull loanee Lloyd Owusu tells us about football Down Under at Christmas.

Kevin Bremner recalls his playing days with Albion and Reading, while club legend Alan Mullery remembers a record-breaking Boxing Day fixture.

All this and much more can be found in Friday’s 84-page edition of Seagull, available in and around the Amex Stadium, priced £3.50.
Not Got Your Ticket Yet?

For fans wishing to attend, there are still tickets available for Boxing Day. Fans wishing to purchase tickets for the upcoming fixtures with Brentford and Ipswich can do this on the match-day.
Season-ticket holders with an outstanding Direct Debit payment are reminded they need to arrange payment of the overdue amount or will be refused entry to the Amex on Friday.
Season-ticket holders wishing to upgrade tickets are recommended to do so in advance by calling the Albion Booking Line on 0844 327 1901.
