Five Brighton & Hove Albion players have been called up for international duty in the last week - as Aaron Hughes, Jake Forster-Caskey and Christian Walton were all called up for their respective nations today.
Defender Hughes is in Northern Ireland's squad for their Euro qualifier against Hungary in Budapest on Sunday 7th September.
Midfielder Forster-Caskey has been named in Gareth Southgate's England under-21 squad for their final two Euro qualifiers in Lithuania and Moldova next week.
Solly March, who played alongside Forster-Caskey in the Toulon tournament in France at the end of last season, is ruled out by his back injury - but Christian Walton is part of Aidy Boothroyd's under-20 squad to play Romania at Telford next Friday.
Elsewhere, Gordon Greer and Vitalijs Maksimenko were called up earlier in the week.
Albion’s captain was named in Gordon Strachan’s Scotland squad, who face world champions Germany in Munich a week on Sunday, while Maksimenko is in the Latvian squad for their home friendly with Armenia on Wednesday, before a Euro qualifier in Kazakhstan the following Tuesday.
