Brighton & Hove Albion women head coach John Donoghue was delighted with his side’s performance following today’s 4-1 victory over Charlton Athletic.
The Seagulls have now won three games in a row and he told seagulls.co.uk, “We looked like we were enjoying ourselves on the pitch.

“We wanted the players to try out a few different things in the attacking areas of the pitch and I thought that they did that today.
“It was also good to share the goals around the side and have three different scorers.
“I know Tammy [Waine] scored in the previous games and had several opportunities again today, but she created so many chances and must have put in between 10 and 12 crosses. That was very pleasing.”
Albion will face Charlton again next week at Thamesmead and Donoghue is expecting a reaction from the Addicks in the reverse fixture.
He added, “I am expecting the players to put in a similar performance next week. I think Charlton have seen what we’ve done and I am sure they will be working on ways to stop us.
“But they created many opportunities themselves that we managed to snuff out, so we are expecting a completely different game and a very tough test.”
