Midfielder Matt Sparrow has joined Sussex neighbours Crawley Town until the end of the season...
The 31-year-old terminated his contract at the Amex earlier today allowing him to join up with League One Crawley Town on a free transfer until the end of the season.
Poyet told seagulls.co.uk, “We thank Matt for everything that he has done for this club during the three seasons that he has been here and we are pleased that he has moved to a club doing well in League One.
“He knew that it would be difficult for him to break into the first-team this season but he has been the ultimate professional around the club and in training every day to keep himself fit and ready for an opportunity.
“He was an important part of our side that won League One during his first season at the club and we wish him all the best for the rest of his career.”
Energetic midfielder Sparrow announced himself on the Albion stage with a memorable brace at Swindon Town on his debut and went on to make 58 appearances, scoring eight goals from midfield.
