Final Score:
Albion 1 Peterborough United 0

FT: Unbelievable finish to the game, Brighton knocked and knocked on the Peterborough door and for so long it looked as if the breakthrough would not come. Then in added on time Stephen Dobbie gives Albion all three points with his first goal for the club; ending the sides seven game winless run.

90+4: David Lopez almost makes it two with his 25 yard strike that goes just wide.

82: A free kick straight off the training ground almost produces a goal but Dobbie's shot is blocked before Orlandi brings another decent stop out of Olejnik with Mackail-Smith inches from the rebound.

78: Substitute Stephen Dobbie lays the ball off for Bridge who sees his driven left footed strike tipped over the bar by Olejnik.

70: Olejnik beats away Wayne Bridge's fierce left footed drive, the rebound falls to Buckley to the left of the goal but his cross back in to the box is cleared.

64: Buckley's cross is not cleared properly by the Peterborough defence and the ball lands invitingly for Mackail-Smith but the striker scuffs his shot wide.

58: Albion are piling on the pressure here and Orlandi is so close to giving the Seagulls the lead. The Spaniard's terrific half-volley from 25 yards cracks the post and bounces away to safety.

56: Great left footed effort from Buckley but his shot from the edge of the area is pushed away by Olejnik. Good save from the Posh keeper.

50: Will Buckley's cross come shot almost drops into the far corner but curls just wide.

46: Second half kicks off and nearly the perfect start for Albion as Ashley Barnes picks his spot in the bottom right hand corner but his side footed effort is pushed wide by Olejnik.

HT: No goals and little action to speak of but Albion have definitely been the side looking most likely to find the breakthrough. 0-0 at the break.

45+1: Orlandi hits a half volley from the edge of the area but his attempt swerves comfortably wide.

43: So close from Mackail-Smith who glances a header from Andrea Orlandi's free kick just wide.

33: Albion look to be in on goal with Mackail-Smith but the attack is ended by the linesman's flag.

22: It has been a quiet opening but former Posh striker Craig Mackail-Smith comes close to a goal but his header from Bruno's cross is held by Robert Olejnik.

01: Peterborough United get the game underway.

Albion boss Gus Poyet makes two changes to the side that drew 2-2 with Leeds United on Friday, including a return for Lewis Dunk to the starting line-up.
