Albion are held to an entertaining 2-2 draw by Charlton at the Valley. Kazenga LuaLua’s free-kick on 75 minutes securing a point for Gus Poyet’s side.

89: Morrison header from 12 yards easily dealt with by Kuszczak then moments later Bridge sees his long range half volley comfortably held by Hamer. The fourth official holds up the board and there will be four minutes of injury-time.

74: GOAL! LuaLua finds the back of the net with a deflected free-kick to bring Albion level. LuaLua does his trademark flip celebration in front of the ecstatic travelling supporters.

70: GOAL! The Addicks snatch the lead as Bradley Pritchard stabs home from close range.

68: Kazenga LuaLua makes his entrance onto the pitch and his first job is to hit a 25 yard free-kick. The midfielder's effort hits the wall but the ball drops for Mackail-Smith but his shot deflects narrowly wide.

66: Stephens tests Kuszczak with a bouncing effort from edge of the area but the Polish international smothers the strike.

61: Another opening for Albion as Hoskins lays the ball off to the edge of the area but Buckley's effort fails to hit the target.

58: A good passing move by Albion eventually sees Will Buckley in space down the left. The winger cuts the ball back across the face of Hamer's goal but the stretching Stephen Dobbie can only direct the ball over.

56: Hulse breaks into the Albion box but Kuszczak pushes the striker's right footed effort away.

51: Right back Bruno threads a delightful ball through to Will Buckley who smashes his effort at goal from a tight angle but Hamer does enough to parry the ball away.

46: Second half is underway here at The Valley.

HT: A blistering opening half hour at The Valley saw Charlton take the lead before a resurgent Albion struck back through Mackail-Smith.

36: The Addicks come close to taking the lead once more as Danny Haynes's strike hits the side netting.

28: GOAL! All level as Michael Morrison fails to deal with a long ball and Albion's top scorer pounces on the loose ball before firing a low shot past Hamer.

27: Wayne Bridge tries his luck from distance with a strike that goes narrowly over.

22: Chris Solly's dangerous drive across the face of Albion's goal almost forces Adam El-Abd into an own goal. The ball deflects off the Egyptian international as he attempts to cut out the cross but Kuszczak blocks brilliantly to spare the defenders blushes.

Another great chance for the Seagulls. Will Hoskins flicks the ball over his head to release Stephen Dobbie but Addicks keeper Ben Hamer spreads himself to deny the Scot.

15: What a chance for Albion! Craig Mackail-Smith's miscued shot rolls into the path of Gordon Greer but the captain blazes over from inside the six yard box.

11: Charlton in the ascendancy here as Rob Hulse's header is tipped onto the bar by Tomasz Kuszczak.

09: GOAL! The home side take the lead. Dale Stephens is credited with the goal as an inswinging corner evades everyone and into the net, although it looked as if Lawrie Wilson got an important touch to help it in.

TEAM NEWS

Gus Poyet makes four changes to the side that lost at Crystal Palace last weekend with Wayne Bridge and Adam El-Abd returning to the starting line-up.

Bridge has recovered from a calf injury and El-Abd from a hamstring injury; they replace Inigo Calderon and Lewis Dunk respectively.

Elsewhere, Stephen Dobbie replaces Andrea Orlandi, who suffered a broken rib last weekend, and Will Hoskins starts ahead of Ashley Barnes.

Calderon and Barnes have been named on the bench, while Lewis Dunk begins a three-game suspension.

Addicks boss Chris Powell also makes four changes to his side that drew 0-0 at Millwall last weekend.

In defence, Michael Morrison returns to centre-back in place of Dan Seabourne, while Lawrie Wilson is preferred to Salim Kerkar at right-back.

Arsenal loanee Emmanuel Frimpong starts in the heart of the Addicks midfielder in place of Yann Kermorgant and Danny Haynes gets the nod ahead of Leon Cort in attack.
