Cam Peupion grabbed Albion's goal in their defeat to Tottenham.

Two late goals from Tottenham saw Albion under-18s defeated 2-1 in their latest league game on Saturday.

Cam Peupion put Albion in front just before the hour mark after he emphatically fired into the top right corner from just inside the box when Spurs failed to clear their lines.

But the hosts were back in it as Maksim Paskotsi volleyed home with style in the 73rd minute.

The comeback was complete with two minutes to go as Albion reacted slowly to a quickly taken corner which found Max Robson at the far post to convert, condemning the visitors to a third consecutive league defeat.

Under-18s coach Mark Beard said, “We conceded from two set-pieces late on in the game which is gutting as we deserved to get something from it.

“We had 18 attempts but we weren't clinical enough in front of goal, it was a very good game though. Their staff complimented us and said it was the toughest and closest game their players will get to first team football.

“We only had one centre-back due to injuries and so had to play a couple of players out of position. But there were some very good individual performances and lots of things we can continue to work on with them in training.

“The only disappointment is we didn't come away with anything.”
