Graham Potter hailed Albion's 'best performance of the season' after they beat Spurs 1-0 to claim their first Premier League win at the Amex since last June.
Leandro Trossard's first-half goal was decisive and Potter was thrilled with how well his side played.
“We're delighted with the three points. It was a top performance, we scored a good goal, kept a clean sheet and this is a big step forward for us.
“I thought the attitude and personality of the players was fantastic and I'm delighted with the way we saw it through.”
Albion could have enjoyed a bigger margin of victory. Pascal Gross hit the post and Aaron Connolly was denied late on by a brilliant block by defender Toby Alderweireld but they have now earned three successive clean sheets.
“I thought it was a closer game to 2-0 than 1-1 but all the time it was 1-0 there is concern because of the quality of the opposition, so it almost makes the result sweeter that we showed the resilience to see the game out.
“It's hard to pick out any individual, it was a fantastic team performance and it should give us a lot of confidence.
“In this league you sometimes have to suffer and we live in a simple world. If you win you're good, if you don't you're bad.
“The players have showed togetherness and stuck with it and I'm delighted for them.”
