Joel Veltman wants Albion to start securing more positive results in the second half of the season.

Joel Veltman says that the team have the quality and capability to put together more good results and lift themselves up the Premier League.

Fulham visit the south coast tonight as Albion look to make it three wins in a row in all competitions and the defender says his teammates are feeling confident.

He said, “At the halfway point I think we can be pleased, but of course we want to get more good results to push up the table.

“I was speaking to Leo Trossard and he was saying at this time last year we had more points, but then it's easy to forget we have played fewer matches!

“The second half of the season is going to be busy and we will need everyone. We've played every side in the league now and more wins will have us looking up the table.

“It's a unique season and you have seen that, without fans anything can happen. Hopefully we keep our confidence in the group and take it forward.”

Joel Veltman has played the full 90 minutes in Albion's last four Premier League matches.

Veltman also spoke about how he feels settled having enjoyed a recent run in the team.

“I am feeling good at the moment. At the start I was in and out of the side, I played three in a row when Dunky was suspended and then a few times when Tariq Lamptey was injured.

“I think I did a good job; we have a team of 25 players so there may always be someone injured and the competition is good.

“I really enjoy being part of the group and the intensity is always really high.

“We've had many games where we felt we played well but didn't get points, so it's nice to be able to be turning that around now.”
