Graham Potter had no complaints after Albion went down 3-0 to high-flying Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Two strikes from James Maddison with a Jamie Vardy goal during 17 first-half minutes made it a tough Sunday night for Albion.

“Over the course of the game we have got no complaints with the result, but there were some big moments for us in the first half. We had some good chances before they scored and we were actually playing quite well I thought.

“But pretty quickly we went from being okay in the game to suffering.

Danny Welbeck saw his effort well saved in what was a golden opportunity for Albion.

“The response of the players in the second half was really good, they stuck at it and kept competing.

“We caused them a few problems, but the boxes are where it matters and Leicester were better than us in that area."

Albion now look ahead to matches against Fulham on Wednesday at Craven Cottage - the first of four fixtures in 13 days - and Sheffield United's visit to the Amex next Sunday. Both teams are currently below 16th-placed Albion in the table.

"We need to show togetherness and respond going into the next match on Wednesday," said Potter.

"We're hurt because losing 3-0 is not a nice score and we now have to show resilience and bounce back."

Potter said that Tariq Lamptey was left out as a precaution because of a hamstring twinge while Adam Webster was left on the bench because of a sore groin.
