Leo Ostigard is spending the season on loan at Coventry City.

Albion defender Leo Ostigard has spoken about the progress he feels he has made during his time on loan in the Championship with Coventry City this season.

The Norwegian has made 14 league appearances for the Sky Blues who sit 19th in the table after 17 matches.

He said, “My feeling is that I have kept developing as a player in the last few months.

“Each game gives me more confidence and helps me grow. Now I just want to play as many matches as possible this year and help the side.

“I know more about the league now as well, so I feel good.”

Ostigard netted his first goal for the club in a 3-0 home win over Rotherham United earlier this month and hopes more goals will now follow in the second tier.

“It was a good goal and a nice feeling; I had been thinking a lot about that moment.

“I had some good chances recently without scoring and I felt like it was coming.

“It’s good to get the first one as it can help you relax, hopefully I can score some more.”

The Sky Blues are currently on an unbeaten run of six matches ahead of this weekend’s game away to Wycombe Wanderers.

“We’re feeling positive at the moment and have had some good results recently.

“The mood in the group is good but we have some important games coming up over the festive period, starting this weekend against Wycombe. We want to climb up the table.”
