Maty Ryan has kept two Premier League clean sheets so far this campaign.

Maty Ryan hopes that the return of supporters to the Amex on Monday will be the turning point in winning more matches at home.

Albion have taken three points from their opening five league home games and are yet to win at the Amex this season, but the Australia international hopes that the 2000 supporters can give his side a boost against Southampton on Monday.

“The supporters are going to be a massive advantage for us. Our home form is something that is vital throughout a season if we want to reach the goals that we have set ourselves.

“We acknowledge ourselves the fact it hasn't been good enough recently although it's not through a lack of trying. We have got to be better at finding ways to get the job done and get those victories at home.

“We will be working together with the fans on Monday to try and do that.”

The 28-year-old is pleased with the momentum Albion have been building in recent weeks and wants to see that continue against Saints.

“Since the victory over Aston Villa, it's been perceived we're in a lot better position and that's what three points does for you.

“There's a real good feel about the place, with the point against Liverpool following the win over Villa. We're in a position now where our performances are giving us a real good opportunity to take more points. We're looking forward to that challenge.”
