Graham Potter believes Albion are capable of plenty of improvement as they prepare to face three of the early Premier League pacesetters.
Albion entertain Liverpool on Saturday before facing two more teams – Southampton at home and Leicester City away – who have led the table already this season.
But they go into Saturday’s game against the champions at the Amex in good spirits after winning 2-1 at Aston Villa on Saturday.

Potter admitted that Albion have played better this season and lost games, which is why he knows they are capable of improving their performance levels.
“I’ve looked back at our games and in most of them we have played very well, but there’s also a recognition after Saturday that we can be a lot better.
“We did a lot of things well and it was great for the players that they got the reward of three points but we know in certain areas we will improve.
“We gave the ball away cheaply at times and I wasn’t happy with how we defended for Villa’s goal but the way we responded by getting hold of the game again and scoring soon afterwards was excellent.”
While Danny Welbeck and Solly March grabbed the headlines for the quality of their goals, Potter praised Pascal Gross, whose assist for March’s winner was his 17th for Albion in the Premier League.
“We have got a lot of young players in the group so you need guys like Pascal, who bring a lot of experience and know-how. Even when he wasn’t in the side he was fantastic and always wants to help the team – I’m delighted for him.”
