Cecilie Fiskerstrand kept a clean sheet on her WSL debut.

Goalkeeper Cecilie Fiskerstrand got her life as an Albion player in the WSL off to the perfect start on Sunday.

Rianna Jarrett's close range header after the break was enough for Albion to defeat West Ham - which also marked their first clean sheet in two months.

Fiskerstrand said, “It couldn’t have gone any better, it was great.

“The first half was a little bit difficult with the wind, but the second half was a bit better. The team did a really good job and we got an important three points.

Fiskerstrand's WSL Debut Delight

“We wanted to bounce back after last week against Aston Villa, and we certainly did that.

“We have got a lot of games coming up, but as a team we go into every match believing that we can win and there’s a lot of confidence in the team.”

The Norwegian international was also happy to see her teammate Jarrett grab her first WSL goal.

“It was a really well taken goal and well done to Rianna.

“It was a strong team performance, everyone gave their best and I am sure that will show in the GPS numbers! It’s good to be a part of.”
