Percy Tau scored his fourth goal in nine matches as Anderlecht beat Kortrijk 3-1 in Belgium’s Juniper League.

The striker cut in from the right-hand side and finished stylishly after half an hour to seal victory for Vincent Kompany’s side. Next up for the Belgian outfit is a trip to league leaders Royal Antwerp on Sunday.

Ryan Longman was also in the goals over the weekend, getting on the scoresheet as AFC Wimbledon drew 1-1 away to Burton Albion in League One, his third of the campaign.

The youngster has caught the eye this season and will be hoping to continue his impressive form when the Dons host Blackpool tonight.

In the Championship, Matt Clarke and Derby County were held to a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Lyle Taylor cancelled out Martyn Waghorn’s first half goal. The Rams host Cardiff City next on Wednesday evening.

In the same division, Viktor Gyokeres was a 77th minute substitute as Swansea drew 1-1 away to Bristol City. The seventh-placed Swans host Stoke City tonight at the Liberty Stadium.

North of the border, Shane Duffy and Celtic drew 3-3 away to Aberdeen at Pittodrie. A last-minute Lewis Ferguson penalty denied Neil Lennon’s men all three points in the Scottish Premiership.

Duffy and Celtic travel to Lille in the Europa League on Thursday having lost 3-1 to AC Milan on home soil last week in their first group game of the competition.

Jakub Moder joined Albion from Lech Poznan in the last transfer window, before heading back there on loan.

Jakub Moder and Lech Poznan drew 1-1 at home against Cracovia on Sunday and travel to face Rangers at Ibrox on Thursday in their second Europa League group stage contest.

Michal Karbownik and Legia Warsaw were also held to a draw in a goalless affair against Pogon Szczecin.

Karbownik and Legia face Widzew in the Polish Cup on Friday.

Elsewhere in Europe, Jan Paul van Hecke played 72 minutes of Heerenveen’s 4-0 home victory over FC Emmen. The result leaves them fourth in the Dutch top flight after six matches, two points behind leaders Ajax.

In America, Jurgen Locadia played just under an hour for FC Cincinnati as they lost 1-0 at home to Minnesota in the MLS.
