Albion midfielder Leandro Trossard.

Leandro Trossard says feeling settled at the club has been a big factor to his strong start to the new campaign.

The Belgian found the back of the net in the opening game of the season against Chelsea and has played a key role in Graham Potter's side this season.

He said, "I'm happy with how it's gone and am feeling really good at the moment.

"The system we play means I get a lot of freedom and I know my role well within the team.

"I want to just keep contributing goals and assists to help the side pick up results.

"I feel settled in England with the league, my teammates and the head coach. We are developing a good understanding with one another on the field and I believe we'll have a good season."

Trossard Hopes Luck Will Change

Trossard hit the woodwork three times at home to Manchester United last month and admits it's about time Albion enjoyed a bit more fortune in front of goal.

"We have had some strong performances at home against Chelsea and Manchester United but those weren't rewarded with points.

"Perhaps it is down to luck a little bit, certainly against Manchester United it felt like that after we hit the woodwork five times.

"If you can turn that around then points will follow. I hit the woodwork three times and I heard the last person to do that in one game was Cristian Ronaldo so I'm in good company!

"That's part of football, we got a good point last weekend at Crystal Palace and now our aim is to get all three against West Brom on Monday."

Potter's West Brom press conference

Lewis Dunk will miss the match with the Baggies following his red card at Selhurst Park last Sunday.

Trossard believes it’s an opportunity for other members of the squad to impress in a game he’s confident the side can win.

"He'll [Lewis Dunk] be a miss but I’m confident we can cope without him.

"It's a shame but it's part of the game. Any team would miss their captain, but we have some good players in that position who have a chance now.

"West Brom will be looking to get points on the board but we're confident that we can win the game.

"If we play to the best of our ability and reproduce last week's performance, I am sure we can get a good result."
