Adam Lallana has assessed Albion's so far and admits they haven't got the rewards their displays deserve.

But the midfielder is confident they can put that right on Monday night when West Brom visit the Amex.

He said, "We have not got enough points for what our performances warrant, that's a fact.

"I don't think I've been involved in a game like Manchester United in my career. I think the only disappointing game was Everton. We weren't happy with that because we gave away some soft goals and were a bit flaky.

"We had to take responsibility. We spoke about it and moved forward and I thought there was a good reaction against Crystal Palace. We were very solid and it was important we got a point because our performance deserved at least that. We would have been really deflated if we had come away with nothing.

"If we keep doing the basics well, doing what we believe in and how we want to play then I'm pretty sure luck will even itself it out over the season."

Lallana is one of several new faces and he admits the squad is still bedding down.

"We have got a few new players in the building and it was a short pre-season. It takes time to click, know each other's games and the manager's ideas and how he gets them across to us.

"We are going to have to be patient but I have been happy with the performances from the team and I think the manager is as well. It's just about those fine percentages.

"If we can get a little bit more out of ourselves and a little bit more out of the performances I think we will see a better points return."

The two sides met at the Amex in August when a pre-season friendly ended goalless.

"It was a typical pre-season game," said Lallana. "Monday is a big one. We need to keep doing what we have been and I'm confident we can pick up three points."
