Simon Rusk's side will look to go five unbeaten this Saturday in Premier League 2.

Albion's under-23s return to Premier League 2 action today looking to make it three wins on the bounce as they host Liverpool, kick-off 3pm.

The match will be available to watch live on MyAlbion TV, which you can access by clicking here.

One of just three teams in the division to remain unbeaten at this stage, a victory for Albion could put them top of the table – depending on how leaders Tottenham get on against Everton and second-placed Chelsea fare against Derby County.

Danny Cashman grabbed the equaliser for the Albion against Arsenal.

Liverpool have opened their campaign with a defeat sandwiched between two victories, with the Rams the only side to take points off them so far.

Albion’s last meeting with the Reds came at home last November when the visitors took all three points in an eight-goal thriller. A late rally from the hosts, after going 3-0 down at half-time, was not enough, as the game finished 5-3.

Last time out...

Reda Khadra netted a superb goal on his under-23s debut a fortnight ago, in a 3-2 win at West Ham United, while the game also marked a return to action for Jose Izquierdo. The Colombian made an immediate impact, finding the winner with a well taken finish after more than year out injured.

Form guide...

Albion go into this one in red-hot form, with two wins and two draws from their opening four league matches.

Liverpool, on the other hand, know a win would put them in the mix with sides near the top of the table, as they currently occupy seventh spot.

View from the coach...

Simon Rusk said, "We’ve had a really good start to the league this campaign and we want to continue that this weekend against Liverpool.

“Our opening matches have been against really tough sides, so to be unbeaten at this stage is a testament to how hard the boys are working.

“Liverpool provided us with a really stern test here last season and had a few players who are now involved with their first team, so this weekend will no doubt be another interesting challenge.”
