Tariq Lamptey has withdrawn from the latest England under-21 squad.

Albion defender Tariq Lamptey has withdrawn from the England under-21 squad for their forthcoming European Championship qualifiers against Andorra and Turkey.

The 20-year-old came off at half-time during Albion's 4-2 defeat at Everton on Saturday and afterwards head coach Graham Potter reported that Lamptey was suffering from a tight hamstring.

He will stay at the club to receive treatment with Albion next in action on Sunday, 18th October, when they visit Crystal Palace.

Lamptey made his under-21 debut last month in England's 2-1 win over Austria in a qualifier.
