Tariq Lamptey’s string of superb performances has earned him a nomination for the EA Sports Player of the Month for September.

The nomination recognises the 20-year-old’s impressive performances against Chelsea, Newcastle United and Manchester United when he has received praise from both his manager Graham Potter and the media.
The pick of his Premier League performances in September came at St James’ Park when he won Albion a penalty and was clocked at 22.8 mph, the fastest speed by a player so far this season.

The Premier League said of Lamptey, ‘The 20-year-old’s all-action displays were a constant feature for Brighton & Hove Albion, and the wing-back supplied an assist against Chelsea.’
