Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of striker Ulrick Eneme Ella from Ligue 2 side Amiens on undisclosed terms, and he will initially join the club’s under-23 squad.

Under-23s coach Simon Rusk said, “We are delighted to have signed Ulrick, and there is no doubting his talent, having represented his country at junior levels.

“We will work with Ulrick to help him settle in, and to continue his development. He is an exciting young player and one who I am looking forward to adding competition to the group of attacking players we already have here at the club.”

The 19-year-old will initially be a part of Simon Rusk's under-23s side.

Eneme is a French under-18 international, and capable of playing as a forward or winger, and came through at Lens and Auxerre.

He joined the academy at Austrian side FC Salzburg in 2017, who loaned him to their fellow Red Bull club FC Liefering in 2019.

He returned to France when he joined Amiens in the summer of 2019, and he has been capped at under-16 to under-19 level.
