Defender Laura Raffety has joined fellow WSL side Bristol City on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old Northern Ireland international returned to training this summer after missing last season with a knee ligament injury which needed surgery.
Head coach Hope Powell said, “Laura has worked really hard in her rehab since suffering what was a serious injury but she needs regular game time which we can’t guarantee such is the strength in depth in the squad.
“This is an excellent opportunity for her in the WSL. We will be monitoring her progress at Bristol City and wish her the best of luck.”
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Katie Startup has also gone out on loan, joining Championship side Charlton Athletic until December 31. The 18-year-old joined Albion in July from the Addicks on a one-year contract.
