The Amex Stadium.

Ahead of Saturday's friendly against Chelsea, we ask all those who have purchased a ticket to read the following information very carefully and ask that you comply with the various new rules and guidelines before, during and after the match.

If you are currently required to quarantine under government guidelines, or show any symptoms of Covid-19, you must not attend the match. Further guidelines can be found on the government’s website.

Travel

It is important to observe the government guidelines while travelling to and from the stadium.

We recommend that you travel to and from the stadium by car if possible to do so.

We do have additional parking available, but this must be pre-booked via the club’s website, in the ticketing section. There will be NO cash sales on the day.

You will need to print-at-home and display your car park ticket in your car windscreen on arrival and when parked. In all of our car parks, we ask that you reverse into parking bays.

Please note NO form of travel is included as part of the ticket.

Arriving at the stadium

You must wear a face covering at all times on the way to, at, and when leaving the stadium – apart from when you are sat in your seat, or when you are eating or drinking.

On arrival at the stadium please ensure you comply with the requests of our safety and stewarding team at all times. They are there for your safety and the safety of those around you.

We will be carrying out photo ID checks for all fans – as tickets are strictly non-transferable.

It is essential that you bring named photo ID that matches the name on your ticket. Entry will not be permitted without this.

The club will be using specialist thermal imaging equipment to carry out random temperature checks when entering the Amex. If your temperature is above 37.8 degrees, you will not be permitted to enter the stadium.

We will still be required to carry out our usual entry checks ahead of you accessing the turnstile. Again, please comply with our safety and stewarding team’s instructions.

We respectfully ask that you do not bring bags to the stadium; if you do so, the maximum permitted size will be A4 (297mm x 210mm). There are no bag storage facilities at the stadium, and any bags left outside the stadium will be removed and disposed of.

When queuing to access, inside the stadium, or when leaving, please observe social distancing at all times – even if queuing with those in your social bubble.

You will be aware we are not permitted to issue paper tickets, so when purchasing your ticket you will have opted for either print at home or for delivery to an Android or iPhone.

If you opted for the mobile phone option, please click here to access our guide of how the new digital ticketing system will work. Make sure you charge your phone before leaving for the Amex.

If you opted for print at home please ensure you print your ticket before you come to the stadium.  There are no printing facilities for supporters at the stadium.

When walking up or down steps, gangways and vomitories, please ensure that you keep left and give priority to those leaving, and allow them to pass

Once inside the stadium we would encourage you to make your way to your seats as soon as possible and enjoy the pre-match entertainment on the big screens.

You must sit in the seat you have been allocated, and you will see social distancing in place in the seating areas.

Please do not move seats at any point.

If you have booked together as part of a group, please ensure you sit in allocated seats, as empty seats must still be left between each person (even if you are in the same household or social bubble).

We appreciate that it is highly likely that supporters wishing to access their seats or leave their seats will need to pass in front of spectators from different social bubbles.

This action of course makes maintaining social distancing more difficult.

We ask that supporters mitigate risks by wearing a face covering in this situation, and turn their back as they move past other spectators, in order to avoid face-to face contact.

Timings

The stadium will open at 1pm, two hours before kick-off and we encourage fans to arrive as early as possible.

We will be running pre-match content on the big screens in the stadium bowl from 1.15pm.

We will be counting down the top ten matches at the Amex, during the past nine years, with the number one revealed just before we begin our usual pre-match build-up.

Please note there will be no content on the screens in the concourse areas, these screens will carry signage and safety messages.

The match will kick-off at 3pm and end at approximately 4.50pm. The stadium will remain open until 6pm, and we ask that you follow club directions when leaving the stadium.

Additional signage will be displayed throughout the stadium using special colour coding (mint green signage for instructions; blue signage for advice).

This information will also be carried on the LEDs, big screens and concourse screens – while additional information will be broadcast over the public address system throughout the afternoon.

On the final whistle, fans may choose to remain in the stadium bowl to stagger their departure. We will be showing additional content on the big screen shortly after the conclusion of the match – and hearing live from head coach Graham Potter.

Catering

Kiosks will be open inside the stadium from 1pm, with a limited range of food options – including burgers, hot dogs and Piglets Pantry pies, and the usual crisps and confectionery. On the external concourse, there will be one kiosk open serving hamburgers and chips.

Our usual range of drinks will be available, and while we would encourage you to take your seats inside the bowl early, please be reminded that drinking alcohol in view of the pitch is not permitted.

Social distancing must be observed on the external and internal concourse areas and remember that the Amex is now a cashless stadium – so please ensure you have a cashless payment method.

We would also encourage contactless payment where possible.

We will be operating a reduced number of till points, with Perspex screens now in place.

Please place you order, then move along the counter and wait for your food items. These will be supplied in a takeaway bag with condiments and napkins included.

Kiosks will be open after the final whistle. Alcoholic drinks may be taken back into the bowl and to your seats (but not before or during match as detailed above)

Toilets

When using the toilets please follow the guidance on display, observe social distancing and use the handwashing and sanitisation facilities available.
