Goals, goals, goals

It should come as little surprise how lethal City are in front of goal and a tally of 86 goals so far this season puts them 11 ahead of second-placed Liverpool. Beating their Premier League record of 106 goals in a single campaign in 2017-18 looks like it might be out of reach with only four games to play.

Top of the charts

Arguably the best central midfielder in the world, Kevin De Bruyne has registered more assists this campaign than any other player, an incredible 18 with four games to play. Combine that with his 11 goals and the 28-year-old has been directly involved in a goal every 1.1 game in his 32 appearances this season.

Seeing red

Only three players this campaign have been sent off twice: Arsenal’s David Luiz, Watford’s Christian Kabasele and Manchester City’s Fernandinho. The 35-year-old’s most recent dismissal came in their 2-1 defeat at Chelsea at the end of June.

Big opportunities wasted

The season might have worked out slightly differently had City taken a few more of the big opportunities they have missed. In fact, they have squandered 75, more than any other side this season. That’s 12 more than second place Liverpool and 30 more than Albion.

To me, to you

Any team managed by Pep Guardiola will be good at keeping the ball on the deck, so it shouldn't shock anyone to see that, as a side, they have completed 2,000 more passes than anybody else – Just the 23,288 so far. Albion have made 16,696, which puts them seventh in the Premier League standings.
