Dan Burn clears his lines against Manchester United.

Defender Dan Burn has said that Albion will be ready for a tough test on Saturday when the Seagulls travel to Norwich City.

Albion will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Manchester United on Tuesday and know that a good result at Carrow Road would be a massive step towards securing Premier League status for next season.

“We’ve had a good start since we have come back from lockdown, so hopefully the game against United is just a little blip and we can go to Norwich and get a result," said Burn.

"But we know it will be a tough game. They gave us a good match before we scored a couple of goals in the 2-0 win here, so we will have to be ready."

Asked if the Norwich game was given priority over the United fixture, Burn reiterated his teammates only ever focus on the game in front of them.

“The Norwich game was never on our mind on Tuesday, you’ve got to play every game as it comes," he added.

“Norwich is a big match, but then we have still got Manchester City and Liverpool to play after that so it’s not like we have got lot of teams at the bottom to play - we’re playing the teams at the top, we wanted to pick up the points against United, but it wasn’t to be.”
