Four Albion players currently on loan in the Championship have extended their loans.

Four of Brighton & Hove Albion’s players, currently on loan in the Championship, have extended their loans in order to complete the rest of the campaign at their current clubs.

Defender Ben White will continue with table-topping Leeds United in their pursuit of promotion, while Jayson Molumby, Christian Walton and Matt Clarke will all resume their play-off challenges with Millwall, Blackburn Rovers and Derby County respectively.

White has started all 37 Championship matches for Marcelo Bielsa’s men this term and has played every minute of the campaign for the league leaders, who resume their season away to Cardiff City this Sunday lunchtime.

Molumby has made 29 league appearances for Gary Rowett’s Millwall side so far this season. The Lions sit in eighth and are two points off the top six ahead of this weekend’s game with Derby at the Den.

Defender Matt Clarke will look to help Phillip Cocu’s men challenge for a play-off position come the season’s end.

Goalkeeper Walton will also be hoping to help Blackburn Rovers seal a place in the top six, with Tony Mowbray’s men currently sit tenth in the table. They host Bristol City at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.

Negotiations are ongoing concerning extensions for Leon Balogun and Jan Mlakar with Wigan Athletic.

While Leo Ostigard and Viktor Gyokeres, on loan together in Germany’s Bundesliga 2 at St Pauli, are expected to conclude their season before the end of their loan arrangements.
