Premier League football returns on Wednesday 17th June, and with it comes the eagerly anticipated resumption of Fantasy Football.

Albion have nine games left to play, starting with a home fixture with Arsenal next Saturday at the Amex and there are 25 Seagulls players to choose from.

Top of the class:

Two Albion players have scored over 100 points so far this season, with goalkeeper Maty Ryan notching 102 and striker Neal Maupay a point behind on 101.

Lewis Dunk (90), Leandro Trossard (75) and Adam Webster (69) make up the rest of Albion’s top five points scorers.

Webster was the joint-highest scoring Premier League defender at the turn of the year after scoring in the away games against Aston Villa, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Albion have games on the road at Leicester City, Norwich, Southampton and Burnley before the season’s end. Could Webster add to his tally in those matches?

Ever presents:

Ryan tops the charts for minutes played with 2,610, while Lewis Dunk and Davy Propper are not too far behind with 2,430 and 2,340 respectively.

Dan Burn, Maupay and Webster are the other three players who have appeared for over 2,000 minutes of games.

Time to get creative?

Albion certainly aren’t short of options in midfield, and a clever way of obtaining some vital points could lie in the ICT index (influence, creativity and threat) which determines a player’s performance in terms of producing goalscoring opportunities.

Pascal Gross tops the chart with 804% with Aaron Mooy in second on 510%. Leandro Trossard is on 489% and Davy Propper completes the midfield quartet with 379%.

Looking for a bargain?

If you need to tighten the purse strings then there is plenty of value to be had among Albion players.

Ireland striker Aaron Connolly, fit again after ankle surgery during the lockdown, is available for just £4.2m, and there may well be joy to be had in the full-back positions with squad rotation a distinct possibility as teams play nine games in six weeks.

Ezequiel Schelotto and Tariq Lamptey are both valued at £4.0m, while Bernardo and Martin Montoya are available for £4.3m.

Some key points issued by Fantasy Premier League are set out below:

  • The remaining season's fixtures have been allocated new Gameweeks
  • GW30+ is a Double Gameweek starting with two midweek fixtures (AVLSHU and MCIARS) followed by a full round of ten matches.
  • FPL managers can make unlimited free transfers until the GW30+ deadline without playing a Wildcard.
  • Prices of players will not change until after the GW30+ deadline has passed.
  • Any unused chips or Wildcards will remain available for use before the end of the season.
  • Triple Captain, Bench Boost and Free Hit chips are available in GW30+.
